In short: Start with the route to the mosque and your daily routine, then compare hotel facilities.

Compare the complete route

A hotel’s distance claim does not describe every part of the journey. Ask which entrance you leave from, whether the route includes slopes or crossings, and where it reaches the mosque area. A map pin is a starting point, not a complete accessibility assessment.

In central areas, look at both the walking route and the practical route for a taxi or luggage drop-off. Do not assume the closest pedestrian approach is also where a vehicle can stop. Confirm pickup arrangements with the hotel or transport provider.

Consider the rhythm of your stay

Think about meals, rest and the number of journeys you want to make each day. A family travelling at different paces may value an easy return to the room. Others may prefer more room space and plan fewer trips back. Write these priorities down before comparing properties.

For hotels relying on a shuttle, ask about the stop locations, operating arrangements and the remaining walking route. Avoid translating a shuttle service into a promise of a door-to-door journey.

Shortlist by requirements

Choose three or four properties that satisfy your minimum requirements, then compare the same dates and room arrangements. Save written answers about access and transport. An attractive lobby should not outweigh an unsuitable daily journey for someone in your party.
