Review the operator’s current baggage rules before buying. Airline baggage allowances do not automatically apply to the train. Consider whether everyone can manage their bags through the station and whether assistance needs to be arranged.
Define the private transfer precisely
Request a price for the whole vehicle and specify every passenger, suitcase and mobility aid. Confirm whether the trip is direct or shared, where pickup occurs, what waiting time is included and what happens after a delayed departure. “Private” should be reflected in the written quotation.
A road transfer can reduce changes of vehicle, but the experience depends on the vehicle, route conditions and driver arrangements. Ask about breaks and any needs your family has instead of assuming a fixed travel time.
